Ladies' Book Club

The ladies meet the 3rd Saturday morning of the month (with occasional exceptions) in the Fellowship Hall at 10:00 am.  And what is a book club without food?!  Come! Eat! Discuss... or not! Just, please, join the group! You will not regret it.

The ladies will not meet in June, but reconvene on July 8th at 10:00 am.  Do you know what that means?

It's time for the Summer Read!
It's A Double Feature!
And it winds up being all about YOU!

Twelve Ordinary Men: How the Master Shaped His Disciples, and What He Wants to Do with You

Contrary to popular belief, we do not have to be perfect to do God's work. Look no further than the 12 disciples whose many weaknesses are forever preserved throughout the pages of the New Testament.

Jesus chose ordinary men - fisherman, tax collectors, political zealots - and turned their weakness into strength, producing greatness from utter uselessness. MacArthur draws principles from Christ's careful, hands-on training of the original 12 disciples for today's modern disciple - you.

Twelve Extraordinary Women: How God Shaped Women of the Bible and What He Wants for You

Celebrated for their courage, vision, hospitality, and spiritual giftedness, it's no wonder women were so important to God's plan revealed in the Old and New Testaments. It wasn't their natural qualities that made these women extraordinary but the power of the one true God whom they worshipped and served.

In Twelve Extraordinary Women, you'll learn more than fascinating information about these women, you'll discover - perhaps for the first time-the unmistakable chronology of God's redemptive work in history through their lives. These women were not ancillary to His plan, they were at the very heart of it.
